My Freelancing Site

This was my business’ website for when I did freelancing. I spent quite a bit of time learning design pricipals making this site.

I was really proud of this cool animation at the time. When making this I learned that redrawing an svg and background-position every frame will tank performance.

And, I was proud of how this blueprint-esque theming turned out for this.

Technologies used

• A pirated Adobe Illustrator to make my sick logo
• ChakraUI for UI components, because I didn’t know about TailwindCSS at the time (imagine styling elements using attributes, LMAO)
• Formik + Yup for making life easier
• NGINX as the webserver and for SSL
• Nextjs for handling routes and my API
• Nodemailer for sending emails
